The Growth Audit: Find Where You’re Leaking Traffic, Conversions and Revenue

A fixed-price diagnostic that shows where you’re leaking traffic, conversions and revenue, and what to fix first.
Fixed price from £1,500Traffic · Conversion · RevenuePrioritised fix list

Most marketing spend doesn’t fail because the channel was wrong. It fails because nobody worked out where the real leak was before spending on it. The Growth Audit is that diagnosis: a fixed-price look at your site, funnel and channels, with a clear answer to “what should we fix first, and what will it be worth?”

The short version

  • A fixed-price, fixed-scope growth audit of your site, funnel and marketing channels.
  • Findings ranked by revenue impact, with a clear first, second and third priority.
  • A written report, walked through live. If there are five real issues, you get five, not twenty.
  • Typically 1–2 weeks from kick-off to the findings call.
  • From £1,500 for a single site in a single market.

What a growth audit reviews

Every growth audit is scoped to your business, but most cover the same ground:

AreaWhat gets reviewed
Traffic sourcesWhere traffic comes from (organic, paid, email, referral) and where each one drops off before converting
Site and funnelTechnical SEO, page speed, mobile experience and where the checkout or enquiry flow loses people
Search visibilityWhat you rank for now, what you should be targeting and the gap between the two, including how you show up in AI search
Conversion pointsProduct pages, landing pages and calls to action, judged on what’s driving or blocking revenue, not best-practice checklists
Channel prioritiesWhich channels deserve more budget, which deserve less and what’s missing entirely

What you get at the end

A written report, not a slide deck full of generic advice:

  • Specific findings, ranked by revenue impact
  • A clear recommendation on what to fix first, second and third
  • No padding. The report is only as long as the findings warrant
  • A live walkthrough so there’s room for questions before you act on anything

Straight answers: that includes “your website isn’t the problem, your offer is” or “you’re actually fine, stop second-guessing it”.

How the growth audit works

StepWhat happens
1. Scoping callA short conversation to confirm what’s in scope and what data is available: analytics, ad accounts and current rankings
2. The auditTypically 1–2 weeks, working directly in your site and accounts, not just reviewing screenshots
3. Findings reportDelivered in writing and walked through live on a call
4. Your callAction it yourself, hand it to your team or agency, or continue into a Roadmap or Fractional engagement

Who the growth audit is for

E-commerce and music industry brands already doing real revenue, where something isn’t adding up: spend is going out, growth isn’t coming back at the rate it should, and it’s not obvious why. It’s built for businesses that want a straight answer.

Not the right start: if you’re pre-launch or pre-revenue, there isn’t enough data to diagnose yet. A shorter scoping conversation is the better first step.

What happens next

Plenty of audits stand alone and get handed to an in-house team or existing agency to action. If it makes sense to keep going, the growth audit leads naturally into the next step:

OptionPriceBest for
Growth AuditFrom £1,500Finding the leaks and what to fix first
Growth RoadmapFrom £4,000A fuller 6–12 month plan with numbers attached
Fractional Growth LeadFrom £2,500/monthOngoing marketing leadership rather than a one-off report

Growth audit FAQs

How long does an audit take?

Most run 1–2 weeks from kick-off to the findings call, depending on how much access and data is available upfront.

Do I need Google Analytics and Search Console set up already?

It helps, but it’s not essential. Part of the audit is spotting measurement gaps if they exist. Google Search Console is free and worth setting up either way.

What if the audit finds nothing wrong?

Then that’s the finding. Confirmation that budget and attention are better spent elsewhere isn’t a failed audit, it’s a useful one.

Is £1,500 the full price, or does it vary?

£1,500 is the starting price for a single-site, single-market growth audit. Scope for multiple sites, multiple markets or a deeper technical review is confirmed on the scoping call before anything’s booked, so there’s no surprise invoice.

Do you implement the fixes, or just report on them?

The audit is diagnosis, not delivery. Implementation is available separately through Delivery work or an ongoing Fractional Growth Lead engagement, with no obligation to continue past the report.
